IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wilma Lillie
Randolph
September 20, 1931 – February 9, 2026
Wilma Lillie Springmeyer was born September 20, 1931 to Clifford and Bertha Springmeyer of Gray, OK. She was born in Perryton, TX, the closest hospital to Gray, so she always said she was a Texan and she was proud of it. She was the youngest of 6 children.
In 1932 her family packed up and moved from the panhandle of Oklahoma to Colorado, where they settled on Squaw Point. Her dad traded a 1929 Chevy for 320 acres with a half-dugout house on it. They lived in the half dugout house for the first year, until they could build a home.
She lived various places while growing up: Squaw Point, in tents around Gypsum Valley when her Dad mined, Blanding, Phoenix and in 1943 they moved to Washington where her dad, sister, brother -in- law, brother, sister- in- law all worked as welders in the shipyard in Tacoma. When her brother came home from WWII they moved back to the farm on Squaw Point.
In 1949 she married Archey Huskey. To this union five children were born. After divorcing Archey she moved with her children to Nucla. In 1959 she married Harmon Randolph and added four children to the family. The following year Donald Dean completed our big happy family.
In 1961 they moved to Washington to be closer to her Mom and Sister. They lived in several places in Washington as Harmon was in construction. Her favorite place was the family farm in Outlook, WA. She always had a big garden and lots of help (from her kids) taking care of it. She canned all our fruits and vegetables for the year.
In 1967 they moved back to Dove Creek, where she lived the remainder of her life. She loved camping, picnics and family dinners. She loved having her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids around her all the time. Her favorite thing was hunting rocks and climbing rocks with her grandkids.
Wilma is survived by her children, Lana (Randy) Watson, Roosevelt, AZ; Lora Huskey, Monticello, UT; Carma (Steve) Young, Monticello, UT; Lorna (Mike) Birch, Grand Junction, CO; Leon (Mary) Randolph, Slick Rock, CO; Darrel (Jamie) Huskey, Dove Creek, CO; Lloyd (Teresa) Huskey, Waxahachie, TX and Donald Randolph, Cortez, CO., 25 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, brothers, her husband Harmon Randolph, her daughter Judy Schlichting, son Jack Randolph, Granddaughter Devan Rae Huskey, grandsons Jeffrie Randolph, Reed Young, Jeremy Watson and great grandson Darren Horne.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Dove Creek. Interment will follow at Dove Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity in honor of Wilma.
