VIRGINIA LOUISE SMITH Virginia Louise Smith was born October 13, 1931 in Pueblo, Colo. to Willie Ed and Ellen Marie (Wikland) Griggs. She passed away at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez on Monday, April 20, 2015. Virginia was 83. Surviving Virginia are her son, Eugene Kennedy and wife, Peggy, of Hotchkiss, Colo.; daughter, Tammy Kennedy of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and her siblings, Martha Gomez, Tom Griggs and Gene Griggs of Pueblo, Colo. and Jack Griggs and Bob Griggs of Beulah, Colo. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
