Vickie Lynn Mata

Memorial services for Cortez resident Vickie Lynn Mata will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2019 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Mr. Fred Calloway will officiate.
Vickie was born September 22, 1946 in Durango, CO the daughter of Perry Glen and Elsie Marie (Dosher) Sheets. She passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Hospice House in Durango, CO at the age of 73.
Surviving Vickie are her mother, Elsie Marie Sheets of Cortez, CO; her children, Ron Maslen (Amy) and Candy Becenti (Milford); her grandchildren, Devin Neuwirth, Brent Spears, Christina Chavez, Darryl Espinoza, Taylor Hale, Ryann Maslen, and Erin Toliver; her siblings, Kelly Hearn, Sherry DePue (Billy), Cindy Roofe, John Sheets (Margaret), Mike Sheets (Gerry), Rick Sheets (Charlene), and Eddie Sheets (Dolores). Vickie was preceded in death by her father, Perry Glen Sheets.
