Velma Mae Carlson was born May 15, 1923 in Gibson, NM the daughter of Arthur and Hattie Viola (Davis) Withers. She passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Vista Mesa in Cortez, CO at the age of 98.
Surviving Velma are her sons, Kenneth Carlson of Cortez, CO, and Steven Carlson of Missoula, MT; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Velma was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Melvin Charles Carlson; her siblings, William Withers, Carol Withers, and Ruth Withers; and her grandson, Tommy.
