Tex Jasper Hurst

TEX JASPER HURST Tex Jasper Hurst was born February 18, 1944 in Aztec, N.M. the son of Junial Boyd and Ocie Lee (Sexton) Hurst. He passed away at his Cortez residence on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the age of 68. In his free time, Tex enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. Surviving Tex are his children, Jasper Hurst and Crystal Hurst of Cortez; his grandchild, Santana Hurst; and his siblings, Jerry Hurst and wife, Leona, Wayne Hurst and wife, Arlene, and Bonna Clark and husband, Pat, all of Mancos. Tex was preceded in death by his parents; and by his brother, Boyd Hurst. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
