Terri Luann Meyer

Terri Luann Meyer, a lifelong resident of Cortez Colorado, passed away unexpectedly in her home on May 20, 2022 at the age of 65.

Luann was born in Cortez on May 19, 1957. She graduated from Montezuma- Cortez High School in 1975 and went on to attend a semester at Fort Lewis College in Durango. Since then, she has been working as a Paralegal in the Cortez area.

Luann was a true light in this world. She always had a smile and a kind word to share with those around her, along with her contagious laugh. She kept busy spending time with her family, friends, and animals as well as playing a part in the community by devoting her spare time to clubs such as the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Posse, Four Corners Rifle and Pistol Club, and Women on Target. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Luann is survived by her husband, Arthur Edwin Meyer; their son, Cody Aaron Meyer with wife Katie (Crawford) Meyer; their daughter Kady Meyer with husband Ronald Dale; her brother Gary Caughey; and her grandchild, Colt Meyer. She is predeceased by her parents, Louis Calvin Caughey and Janet Erin McCutcheon.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 10:00 am on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Cortez Elks Lodge.
