TAMI LYNN LOBATO

  A celebration of life for Cortez, Colo. resident Tami Lynn Lobato will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the Lewis Arriola Community Center.

  Tami was born December 22, 1979 in Raton, N.M. the daughter of Frank James Marquez and Betty Rose Archuleta (Betty Rose Gonzales). She passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in her hometown at the age of 43.

  Tami loved everyone and had a heart of gold. She gave everyone silly little nicknames. She enjoyed beading pictures, watching movies, and spending time with kids. Tami was such a kind woman and fought so many different battles in life.

  Surviving Tami Lynn Lobato are her children, Sonya, Alicia, James Jr. and Neveah; her grandchild, Ayla; her parents, Frank Marquez and Betty Archuleta; her siblings, Bobby Marquez, Steven Marquez (Chantilly), Gina Marquez, and Debra Marquez; her grandmother Mary Gonzales; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Tami was preceded in death by her husband, James Lobato; her grandfather, Frank Gonzales; her grandmother, Doris Marquez; her aunt, Tammy Gonzales; and by her unborn son.
