STANLEY RAYMOND BLACK Funeral services for longtime Lewis resident, Stanley Raymond Black will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 3 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Goodman Point Cemetery. Stanley was born on July 22, 1928 in Cortez the son of Marshal and Leslie (Stanley) Black. He passed away on Monday, May 30 at the Vista Grande Nursing Home in Cortez at the age of 76. Surviving Stanley are his wife, H. Nadeen (Goodall) Black; his five sons, Gary Black and wife, Patti of Yuma, Ariz., Darrell Black and wife, Bonnie of Lewis, Phillip Black of Hobbs, N.M., Bryan Black and wife, Tammy of Cortez, and Kevin Black and wife, Christine of Littleton, Colo. He leaves four siblings, Allan of Farmington, N.M., Dale of Cortez, David of Farmington, and Wanda of Cortez. Preceding him in death were his parents.
