Stanley Jerome Boncek, Jr, a resident of Dolores, Colorado passed away Friday, July 24, 2026. He was born August 15,1962 at George AFB. Stan is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary. He is also survived by his father, Stanley J Boncek of Castroville, Tx, his brother John (Carol) Pearl River, La, sister Sharon Boncek of Castroville Tx, and brother Steven Boncek (Emily) of San Antonio, Tx, brother-in-law Joseph Kathrein (Liz), sister-in-law Karyl Farris (Rick). He has many nieces and nephews (Erika and Joshua Kathrein, Angela Costanza (Ryan and Micah), Damien Farris (Laura, Lily and Raif), Jonathan Farris, Brianna Boncek (Dan), Sidney Boncek, Sebastian Boncek, and Sven Boncek.

He was proceeded in death by his mother Loretta Boncek. Stan worked at Eagle Rock Distributing for 33 years in Norcross, Ga and in Durango, Co. He was known at Eagle Rock for the impact he made at work, his kindness and friends he made with both customers and his coworkers. Stan loved living in Colorado enjoying the mountains, he also had a hunting club he was part of in Georgia where he fished, hunted and just got away from the pressure of daily life.

Stan’s funeral mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church on August 15, 2026, with a Rosary service at 9:30 am, Mass at 10:00 am.
