Funeral Mass for Cortez resident Sally Ann Marie Gleason will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026 (Rosary at 9:30) at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque.

Sally was born on August 14th, 1955 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of James F and Sally Jean (Sandor) Cerny. She passed away on Sunday, March 1st, 2026 at Mercy Regional Medical Center at the age of 70.

Sally was a hardworking woman that always lent a helping hand to others. Sally found joy in simple moments. She loved gardening with her grandchildren, breathing midsummer night air on a freshly stained deck, celebrating Christmas with her daughters, and bowling with her friends.

Surviving Sally are her children Jamie Hightower, Jeannie Schiess, and Jennifer McDonald; her grandchildren Racquel Lindsey, Micah Hightower, Titus Jackson, Koral Jackson, Jalie Hightower, Rickie McDonald, and Kage Gleason; her great-grandchildren Journie, Emari, and Israel; and her sister Jamie Gentile.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sally, and her spouse Omar Gleason.
