Robin Diane Haggard

August 8, 1961 — November 18, 2022

Robin Diane Haggard was born August 8th, 1961 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to her mother, Jerry Sue Smith and her father, Olan Stanley Smith. She is the younger sibling of David Smith. She attended school in Paramount, California and Las Vegas, Nevada.

After school Robin became a bartender and studied to get her CDL as a hazmat driver for Flying J trucking company, which became a passionate career. Robin was a member of the American Legion and occasionally worked there after retirement.

Robin’s heart belonged to the mountains where she enjoyed fishing, camping, and turkey hunting with her brother. She also loved to spend time with her daughter and her grandchildren playing games, going to the lake, mushroom hunting, and going on mountain drives. Some would call her a rock-hound. Her two fur babies Bella and Yogi were loved as if they were her own children.

Robin passed away in the comfort of her home on November 18th in Cortez, Colorado. She is survived by her daughter, Danielle 35; brother, David 69; and her five grandchildren, Curtis 20, Patrick 18, Coral 15, Christian 15, and Wyatt age 4.

Robin will be remembered for her contagious laugh and her willingness to always help others. She was an amazing person and will be missed dearly.

Memorial contributions may be made to Danielle Stephens.

Robin’s services will be held at the American Legion on Friday, December 9th at 11:00 a.m. with a pot-luck to follow. Please feel free to bring a dish if you would like. Refreshments will be provided.
