Richard Lobato was born May 18, 1934, in Mancos, CO, the son of Firmin Lobato and Sensionita (Espinoza) Lobato. He passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the age of 92.

Richard was a loving father, house painter, and loved the casino life.

Surviving Richard are his children, Danny Lobato, Geno Lobato, Tim Lobato, Yvonne Nelson, Michael Lobato, Matthew Lobato, Wayne Lobato, and Shane Lobato; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and his two siblings, John Lobato and Sophie Lobato Martinez.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and two brothers; his two wives; and one daughter, Linda Lobato Smith.
