Rayola Bagwell of Cortez, Colorado died February 22, 2026 with loved ones by her side. She was born August 27, 1938 to Bunn and Blanch Turnbow.

Rayola was an active member of St. Barnabas of the Valley Episcopal Church, volunteered with Special Olympics, loved to read and travel. 

Surviving Rayola are her son John Bagwell of Cortez, Colorado, a sister Bertran Deline of Texas.  She is preceded in death by her husband, James Bagwell, her daughter Scotti Bagwell and her sister Roberta Berg.  

Services will be held at a later date.
