Ray Mica Korns

RAY MICA KORNS Memorial services for Dove Creek resident Ray Mica Korns will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 26 at the First United Methodist Church of Dove Creek. Ray was born April 29, 1965 in Kansas City, Mo. the son of Michael Francis and Janice Elizabeth (McMabon) Korns. He passed away on October 8, 2013 at Mercy Regional Medical Center at the age of 47. Ray was very active and involved in the Durango Arts for the Disabled and Community Connections. He volunteered at the Durango Soup Kitchen and Special Olympics. Ray loved karaoke, art, and painting. Surviving Ray are his parents, Michael Korns and Janet Hos; grandmother, Leota Korns of Cortez; brother, Chris Korns; special cousins, Gloria Klein and Bill Hull of Dove Creek; and numerous cousins.
