Lee Coley was born July 17, 1942, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was a true Okie from Muskogee. He left for his Heavenly home on July 28, 2026, in Lewis, Colorado. Our Family was blessed to have him for 84 years.
In the Army, he was a proud Screaming Eagle in the 101stAirborne Division. He loved skydiving and continued to jump into his late 70’s. He was an active member of both the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. He has worked and been involved in law enforcement in many capacities through the years, most recently as a member of the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Posse. He was an electrician by trade and retired from Chevron Oil Company after 35 years.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8th at the Lewis Arriola Community Center beginning at 1:00 p.m.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 38 years, Elizabeth Ann Coley, and his daughter Lisa Dawn McGuff. He is survived by his children Quentin (Buddy) Coley and wife Tori, Lisa’s widower Billy McGuff, James Coley and wife Sandie, and Leann Dodd and husband Chad. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
