Paul Ghezzi Jr, a devoted husband, father and lifelong craftsman, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on December 6, 2025, at the age of 81. He leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength, skilled hands, and a deep love for the simple, honest pleasures of life.
Born in Wichita Kansas, Paul moved with his family to Colorado at the age of 16 and never lost his love for the wide-open spaces and rugged beauty of his adopted home. Whether hunting or fishing, riding horses across mountain meadows in his younger years or simply sitting in the quiet of the woods. Paul found peace and purpose in nature where he often said he felt closest to God.
In his shop, Paul came alive in a different way. With sawdust on his boots and tools in his hands, he built and repaired with patience and pride. He poured his heart into creating with his hands. He built furniture, fixed what was broken and crafted small treasures for those he loved.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents Paul and LeNeve Ghezzi. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Christine, their two sons John and Brian and their families. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his ornery yet gentle sense of humor and the way he lived quietly, capably, and always close to the land and people he loved.
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe now in Me. In My Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I Am, there you may also be.” John 14:1-3
Paul will be deeply missed, forever loved and reside forever in our hearts and with Jesus in the House of the Lord our God.
