Patsy Simmons McClain was born on June 29, 1938, in High Gate, Missouri. She passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 88 at Vista Grande Inn in Cortez, Colorado. Pat and her husband Bill moved to Colorado in the early 1960's and then to Cortez in 1967. Pat was a homemaker until her children were mostly grown and then she worked at Gambles and Wal-Mart for many years. Pat is survived by six of her children, Dick Giesler (Anita), Mickey Giesler (Cindy), Dennis Giesler (Kim), Patty Simmons, Kathy Stone (Daren), and Linda Goodwin (Bob). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Pat is preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Simmons and Corky McClain, and by her son, Daniel Simmons. There will be no services at this time.
