Patricia Faye 'Patty' Brown

Patricia Faye ‘Patty’ Brown was born December 18, 1946 in Berryville, AR to Dollie and Reuben (Slim) Cox. She passed away peacefully in her home, with her husband by her side, in Nucla, CO on May 19, 2022. Patty was 75 years old
The Cox family moved to Cortez, CO in 1955 when Patty was eight years old. Patty lived in Cortez until she married James Brown in 1985 when they moved to Nucla, CO. On June 3rd of this year, they would have celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary. Patty and Jim were both active members of the 7th Day Adventist Church in Nucla.
Patty leaves behind her husband of 37 years, James Brown of Nucla, CO; her sister, Bobbie Spore of Quartzsite, AZ; her brother, Richard (Laura) Cox of Cortez, CO; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Patty was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Darrell Cox, and Farrell Cox.
Patty was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
