Micky Dee Neely

Micky went home to be with his savior on November 13, 2025, at the age of 48. He was born on January 19, 1977, in Durango, Colorado. He was born to Rick Neely and Lori Schluter. He grew up in the Yellow Jacket, Pleasant View area and graduated from the Cortez High School. He enjoyed being outside, camping, fishing and shooting guns with his family. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he enjoyed watching them on Sundays, even naming his son after them. He attends games in Denver and Dallas to watch them play, also happily argued with his Grandad Charles on Thanksgiving Day about the game.

He was married to Eirin Neely and from this marriage a son was born Dallas Neely. Micky and Eirin later divorced. He was married to Rhianne Melcher for a short time.

Micky was a devoted father to Dallas, and a loving grandfather to his two grandchildren. He is survived by his mom Lori (Joe) Schluter Cortez, Grandmother Nita Neely Cortez, son Dallas (Jess) North Carolina, siblings Misty Neely Olathe, Shannon Neely Cortez, Cassie Burnham Cahone, Dustyn (Karen) Neely Florida, grandchildren Marcus and Zoey North Carolina, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by his father Rick Neely, stepmother Denise Neely, grandparents Charles and Carol Newby, Renay Neely, brother-in-law Jeremy Burnham and a Cousin Nicholas Neely.

He was a loving son, grandson, father, brother and uncle.

Funeral services will be held at the Arriola Bible Church December 6, 2025, at 11:00. Dinner to follow.
