Melvin Ray Houx was born April 25, 1931 in Sayer, OK the son of Earl Ollie and Lily (Summers) Houx. He passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020 at his residence in Dolores, CO at the age of 88.
Surviving Melvin are his children, Donn Leigh Turner of Round Rock, TX, Samuel Earl Houx of Tacoma, WA, and Gina Rachel Houx Kotarski of Mancos, CO; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Melvin was preceded in death by his parents; and his child, Kendall Ray Houx.
