MaryAnn Land

In memory of MaryAnn Land. MaryAnn passed away with her daughters by her side in Lewis, CO, on July 4th, 2025. MaryAnn was born to Betty and Dan Vanover in Montrose, CO, on March 24th, 1947. She grew up in Grand Junction and graduated from GJHS in 1965. In 1967 she married Pete Howland of Aurora, CO. They had 3 daughters. They later divorced in 1978.

MaryAnn will be greatly missed by her kids, grandkids, family and friends.

MaryAnn is survived by her daughters, LisaAnn Young (Doug) of Pierson, FL, Amy Howland (Rod Majors) of Lewis, CO, Becky Fletcher (Bill) of Cumby, TX. Her step kids, Gina Maestas (Joe) of Littleton, CO. and James Land of Phoenix, AZ. She had 19 grandkids and 15 great grandkids. Her little sister Debbie Stone (Tom Patton) of Grand Junction and 5 nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Betty Christensen and Dan Vanover. Her little brother Dan Vanover Jr., and her first husband Pete Howland.
