Mary Eileen Scott

Mary Eileen Scott, 84, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025 just weeks after celebrating her birthday surrounded by her loving family in Mesa Az.

Mary was born and raised in Cortez Colorado, a place she proudly called home for most of her life. She was known for her warm heart and great cooking. She had a love of simple joys and a deep devotion to her family.

She is survived by her two children Toni McClanahan (husband Greg) and Eric Scott (wife Leilani), eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren, her brothers Gene Baxstrom and Robert Baxstrom (wife Sharon). She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Harold Baxstrom, Kenny Baxstrom and sister Helen Holliday. Her two children Kerry Scott and Preston Scott, her first husband Tex Scott of 47 years and her second husband Steve Hinton.
