MARJORIE SHIRLEY DENNISON

  Graveside services for Marjorie Shirley Dennison will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Cortez Cemetery.

  Shirley was born June 25, 1935 in Quail, Texas the daughter of Granville E. and Mary Lucy (Daves) Atkinson. She passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango at the age of 87.

  Surviving Shirley are her children, Cherie Dennison of Fruita, Colo., Darrell Dennison (Kris) of Cortez, and Michelle Neergaard (Ted) of Mancos; and by six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Darrell Dennison; her daughter Melanie Sexton; and by her siblings, Peggy Kirkpatrick and Moss Atkinson.
