Marilyn Kay Doyel

MARILYN KAY DOYEL Marilyn Kay Doyel was born February 2, 1958 in Leadville, Colo. the daughter of Raymond Roysten and Mary Ruby (Darden) Doyel. She passed away at her San Antonio, Tex. home on Monday, January 20, 2014 at the age of 55. Growing up on the Dolores/San Miguel County Line, Marilyn attended school in Dove Creek graduating from Dolores County High School. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Vista Grande Inn for 15 years. Marilyn loved animals especially dogs. She also had a pig collection. Marilyn is survived by her two sons, Ryan Neely and wife, Tiffany of Cortez, and Brandon Neely of Grand Junction, Colo.; her grandchildren, Savannah and Ericah Neely both of Cortez, and Samantha Neely of Grand Junction, Colo.; sisters, Carolyn Christy of Phoenix, Ariz., Phyllis Wright and husband, Roger of Grand Junction, Colo., Melanie Randolph of Debeque, Colo., and Kathy Cole and husband, Gary of Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ruby Doyel; and brother, Jack Doyel. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made in Marilyn's name at Community Bank in Dove Creek.
