Lynn Carver, a longtime resident of Cortez, passed away after more than 60 years in the community she called home.

She is survived by her son, David Sinclair (Elaine); her daughter, Stephanie Carver; and her grandsons, Justin Sinclair(Brooke), Ryan Alex Carver (Kaylee), Daxon Hackett. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Pearl, who was a faithful companion in her later years.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teri Sinclair.

Throughout her life, Lynn worked many years as a daycare provider and also spent many years bartending, where her strong personality and presence left an impression on many who knew her.

Lynn loved gardening and took pride in caring for her flowers and yard. She also had a deep love for horses and was especially proud of her experiences participating in Pony Express relay races, something that brought her joy and reflected her independent spirit and love of the outdoors.

Lynn’s life was filled with many experiences, challenges, and memories.

She will be remembered by her family, friends, and all those whose paths crossed hers throughout her life.
