Lolita Ann Persilver Finley, born November 28, 1943, in Loreauville, Louisiana, passed away surrounded by the love of a large family and many friends whose lives she touched throughout the years.
Lolita shared 63 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Jim Finley. Together, they built a life centered around family and her faith in Jesus and will continue long after her passing.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; her daughters, Angeline Taggart Lowe and husband John Lowe, and Jami Dennison; her grandchildren, Ian Taggart, Derek Taggart, Kinsey Wells and her husband Cody, Kylie Dennison, Dante Dennison and his wife Ashlynn, and Isaiah Dennison; and her many cherished great-grandchildren, including Lillie, Star and Macie Taggart, Presley Wilkerson, Tachen and Oliver Dennison, Evandrus, Kalem and Micaiah Wells, and Eliza Jane Dennison.
Lolita is also survived by her brothers, Wayne and Johnny Persilver, her sister, Juanita Persilver Noble, as well as many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulysses and Esther Persilver; her daughter, Micah Denise; and several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026,24, at 11:00 a.m. at Cortez Cemetery, with a celebration of Lolita’s life immediately following at the Lewis-Arriola Community Center in Arriola, Colorado.
Her absence will be deeply felt, but the love, memories, and family she leaves behind will endure for generations.
