Leilani Alexus Vigil

Memorial services for Cortez resident Leilani Alexus Vigil will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Ertel Memorial Chapel.
Leilani was born February 10, 2002 in Cortez, CO the daughter of Mario Octavio Vigil and Audra May Tunnell. She passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at her residence at the age of 18.
Surviving Leilani are her mother, Audra Tunnell (Matthew Hager) of Cortez, CO; her father, Mario Vigil (Melani Martinez) of Albuquerque, NM; her boyfriend, Nelson Smith of Cortez, CO; her grandparents, Tom and Selina Tunnell of Cortez, CO, and Margaret Tevault (Terry) of Cortez, CO; her brother, Leland Vigil of Albuquerque, NM; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Leilani was preceded in death by her grandfather, Valentino Vigil.
