Lavella Lynn Mills

Graveside services will be held for Towaoc resident LaVella Lynn Mills at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Cortez Cemetery. Mr. Terry Knight Sr. will officiate.
LaVella was born March 8, 1970 in Cortez, CO the daughter of Velma Cuthair (Clark) Mills and Norton Mills Sr. She passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Mercy Hospice House in Durango, CO at the age of 50.
Surviving LaVella are her mother, Velma C. Mills of Towaoc, CO; her partner, Kimberlyn Henderson of Shiprock, NM; her sister, Flaydina Knight (Terry) of Towaoc, CO; her niece, Tawnie Knight (Patrick Littlebear) of Cortez, CO; her nephews, Terry Knight Jr. (Jenny Cuch) of Towaoc, CO, and Dyllon Mills of Durango, CO; and a large extended family and friends. LaVella was preceded in death by her father, Norton Mills Sr.; and her brothers, Norton Mills Jr. and DeVaney Clark Mills.
