Memorial Service for Cortez resident Kim Jeffery Perkins will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday,

August 22, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Road M chapel. A luncheon

will be served after the memorial service for family.

Kim was born May 2,1957 in Cortez, Colorado the son of Calvin Perkins and Glennis Sheuffele.

He passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026 at the age of 69.

He enjoyed fishing, playing/watching basketball, and spending time outdoors. Most of all he

enjoyed spending time with his 15 grandchildren. Kim enjoyed a successful career in

Commercial Cattle Feeding. He and his bride, Gail, were sealed on December 18,1980 in the

Provo, Utah temple.

Surviving Kim are his wife, Gail Perkins of Cortez, CO; his children Kistine Uffens (Matt) of

Monument, CO; Devin Perkins (Amanda) of Puyallup, WA; Kyle Perkins (Aubrie) of Minot, ND;

Kathryn Stoney (Tyler) of Sandy, UT; Jaclyn Gerber (Peyton) of Saratoga Springs, UT; and his

grandchildren: Alexa, Kendra, Brock, Tyson, Shae, Chaz, Penelope, Linden, Graysen, Bradley,

Colette, Brody, Hudson, Micah, and Cru; and his siblings: Janie Murray, Cordell Perkins, Collin

Perkins, and Darin Perkins.

Kim is preceded in death by his parents.
