Kenneth George 'Ken' Braun Sr.

Come by Ertel Memorial Chapel between 10 a.m. and noon on Monday, June 8, 2020 for a Celebration of Life for Cortez resident Kenneth George Braun Sr. Inurnment will follow at 2 p.m. at Cortez Cemetery. Military Honors will be presented by the Veterans of Montezuma County.
Ken was born October 12, 1951 in Dickinson, ND the son of George J. and Georgian Mary (Samek) Braun. He passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at his residence at the age of 68.
Surviving Ken are his spouse, Denise Braun of Cortez, CO; his children, Kenneth Braun (Leah) of Montrose, CO, and Anthony Braun (Theresa) of Las Vegas, NV; his step-children, Kyle Ewing of Cortez, CO, and Amanda Free of Owensboro, KY; his sisters, Audrey Smith (Larry) of Winton, CA, and Maureen Gomez (Vince) of Cheyenne, WY.; and 11 grandchildren. Ken was preceded in death by his parents.
