KATHERINE VIRGINIA BURT Katherine Virginia Burt was born on August 14, 1938 in McComb, Miss., the daughter of Edwin Gerald and Boyd Virginia (Alford) Mixon. She passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at the Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 68. Surviving Katherine are her children, Gerald Burt of Patterson, Louisiana, Terrie K. Redd, Heather Redd, and Torre Redd. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki Burt. A private memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 27.
