Karen Paula
Robb
Jul 20, 1944 — Aug 5, 2026
Karen Paula Robb (Olson), affectionately known to many as Suzy, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026, at Southwest Memorial Hospital. She was 82 years old.
Karen was born on July 20, 1944, in The Dalles, Oregon, to Frank Fletcher Olson and Ila June Olson (Grant). She spent her early childhood attending the one-room rural Mildred Schoolhouse near Cortez CO, an experience she often remembered fondly.
Karen made her home in Mancos, Colorado, where she was known for her creativity, warmth, and entrepreneurial spirit. A woman of many talents, she loved crafting, decorating, gardening, and especially antiques. Her greatest passion was her antique business, Klutter Keeper Antiques, where she found joy in preserving, restoring, and repurposing treasured pieces of the past. Karen was known as a fiercely independent woman who could accomplish anything she set her mind to. Those who knew her often described her as one tough cookie—strong, resilient, and always ready to take on life’s challenges with grit and determination.
Karen’s greatest pride was her family. She is survived by her son, Quinton Tyler, his children, Camille and Paul, and their mother, Isabelle; her son, Troy Tyler, his children, Ptolemy and Cato, and their mother, Lisa; her daughter, Colette Mayers (Gies) and her husband, Ned Mayers; her nephew, James Allen Olson and his family; and her niece, Lisa Olson Pollitt and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ila June Hazen Olson and Frank Fletcher Olson; her brother, James Blaine Olson; and her sister-in-law, Karen Olson.
Whether tending a garden, restoring a treasured antique, or helping a friend, she poured her heart into everything she did. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A celebration of Karen’s life will be announced by the family at a later date.
