Joseph "Joe" Konyndyk

Memorial services for Mancos resident Joseph “Joe” Konyndyk will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Chaplain David Johnson will conduct the service. Military Honors will be performed by the Veterans of Montezuma County.
Joe was born June 23, 1925 in Merian, Michigan, the son of Frank and Martha (Briggs) Konyndyk. He passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at his residence at the age of 96.
Surviving Joe are his wife, Merna Belle Konyndyk of Mancos, Colorado; his son, Terry Merritt Konyndyk of Mancos, Colorado; and his siblings, Harold Konyndyk and Betty Konyndyk, both of Michigan. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Warren Konyndyk, Clarence Konyndyk, Angie Wiley, Lucy Konyndyk, Bud Konyndyk, Lee Stroven, and Doris Konyndyk.
