Johnny Anson 'John' Kuykendall

Funeral services for Mancos resident Johnny Anson 'John' Kuykendall will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints M Road Chapel. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery.
John was born March 6, 1934 in Safford, AZ the son of Floyd Rexter and Velma Amelia (Kelly) Kuykendall. He passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO at the age of 87.
Surviving John are his loving wife, Angelia Marie Kuykendall of Mancos, CO; his children, Kelly Kuykendall of Mancos, CO, Jolene White (David) of Resaca, GA, and John Howard Kuykendall (Cecelia) of Cortez, CO; his sister, Esther Summers of Poteau, OK; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Flossie Dicken, Opal Redshaw, and Stanley Kuykendall.
