JOHN KEITH HART

Funeral services for John Keith Hart will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Towaoc Cemetery. Visitation has been scheduled for Thursday evening at Ertel Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

John was born September 20, 1988 in Shiprock, N.M. the son of Nancy Ann (Whiteman) and Phillip Daniel Hart. He passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at his Towaoc residence at the age 34.

Surviving John are his father, Phillip Hart of Hammon, Okla.; his mother, Nancy Hart of Towaoc, Colo.; his partner, Tiffany Redbird of Towaoc, Colo.; his step-children, Navany, Nyverius, and Nyus Begaye all of Towaoc, Colo.; by his brother, Michael Hart (Kelly) of Phoenix, Ariz.; and by his grandmothers, Emily Whiteman of Towaoc, Colo., and Nancy Prairiechief of Ignacio, Colo. John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvin and Emma Hart, Darwin Whiteman Sr., and Lewis Spencer. The pallbearers for John’s funeral will be Bo Munoz, Terry Hayes, Joseph Yellowman, Michael Hart, Timothy Parker Jr., William Johnson, Damien Whiteman and Dendell Whiteman. The honorary pallbearers are Towaoc EMS, Ute Mountain Casino Security, Nyverius and Nyus Begaye, William Prairiechief, Jayden Yellowman, Cody Redbird, Christian Johnson, Dennis Jr., Dennis Sr., Chester, Jaron, Jerrich, Dewayne, and Waylon Whiteman, Micah, Nathan, Henry, Eugene, Paul, and Dominik Hart, Edward Krapcha, Michael Greeley, Gregg Littleelk, Cody Bearshield, Jaron and Henry Jacket, Tyryn Parker, Cainaae Johnson, Standingwater, Hart, Myles and Whiteman families.
