John Earl ‘Jack’ Akin was born April 28, 1943 in Dolores, CO the son of Preston Edward and Mary Garland (Olsen Brumley) Akin. He passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at his residence in Dolores, CO at the age of 79.
Surviving Jack are his children, John Akin (Tarcela) of Montrose, CO, James Akin (Sharry) of Dolores, CO, and Jessica Swain of Savannah, TN; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Lynelle Rule, Marjorie Akin, and Ed Akin.
