Jeremy Daniel Burnham of Cahone, Colorado age 45, passed away at St. Mary’s hospital on October 18, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle. His presence will be missed by many.
He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 26, 1980 to Phillip and Charlene Burnham. He had an older brother Jeff and two sisters Jana, and Jami. When he was almost 2 the family moved to Florida where Charlene and Philip had Jason. When Jeremy was 6 they moved to California, where they settled in Paskenta. After leaving high school from Paskenta, California he joined the army. He was stationed in Germany for a time before he was sent to Iraq and did two tours for a total of 2.5 years. When he returned to the states he was stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky before he was honorably discharged in January of 2007.
Jeremy met Cassie Marie Schluter in 2009 and they married on December 31, 2011. The couple moved to Winnemucca in June of 2012 where they welcomed their first son Sebastian in October of 2012. Three years later they welcomed their second son Quinten in 2015. The couple moved back to Colorado in November of 2015. The couple bought their first house in June of 2018 and moved to the Cahone area.
Jeremy loved being outside and doing things with his hands. He always humored his wife with her chicken coops and crazy crafty projects. He was a good builder and loved to create metal art. He enjoyed spending time outside with his family, he liked going camping and riding side by sides.
Jeremy is survived by his parents Philip and Charlene Grants Pass, Oregon, his wife Cassie and his sons Sebastian and Quinten. Brothers Jason (Jessica), Jeff (Desiree), and sisters Jami (Megan), Jana (Travis) sisters-in-law Misty Neely, Shannon Neely. He was like a dad to his nephews Kilton Korthank, Kiernan Korthank, Christian Burnham and niece Kalli Korthank.
Proceeded in death by brother in law Micky Neely.
A celebration of Jeremy’s life will be held at the Lewis-Arriola Community center on December 13, 2025 at 11:00a.m. The family invites all who knew him to attend and share their favorite memories.
