James Carl “Jim” Robbins, age 79, of Mancos, Colorado formerly of Lancaster, California and Hyde Park, Pennsylvania passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021.
After 38 years in the aviation industry, he enjoyed retirement with his beloved wife, Beverly. He was an active member of Elks Lodge 1789, an avid golfer, hunter, fisherman and also had an exceptional talent for woodworking.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Clark and Helen; brothers, John “Jack”, Clark, Edward and Robert; sisters, Lousie and Mary; and sons, James “Jimmy” and Kevin. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Beverly; and children, Joseph, Deanna, Denise, Vickie and Jon Keith; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, collectively.
A private memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021. Interment will take place at a later date at Summit Ridge Cemetery in Dolores, Colorado. Jim was a treasure who was loved by everyone blessed to know him.
