Jacob Douglas Wittmier

JACOB DOUGLAS WITTMIER Jacob "Jake" Douglas Wittmier was born on July 20, 1985 in Renton, Wash. to Edwin Fred Wittmier and Karen Lee Yohn. He passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in Cortez, Colo. at the age of 26. Jake graduated in 2004 from Grand County High School in Moab, Utah and was a 2009 graduate of Northern Arizona University. He loved camping and the outdoors. Jake also enjoyed spending time with friends. Surviving Jake are his parents, Ed Wittmier of Ferndale, Wash. and Karen Yohn of Prescott, Ariz.; his sisters, Sonja Wittmier of Bellingham, Wash., and Mandy Wittmier of Ferndale, Wash.; his uncle, Doug Yohn and wife, Linda of Boulder, Colo.; his aunts Joann Wittmier and Sue Wittmier, both of Maple Valley, Wash; and his cousins Patrick Yohn and Mateo Yohn, both of Boulder, Colo.
