Humberto Jose Arana

Humberto Jose Arana was born March 7, 1936 in Managua, Nicaragua. The son of Humberto Arana Lacayo and Josefina Zuniga Castillo. He passed away at his home in Cortez, Colorado on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at the age of 89.

Humberto served in the US Air Force where he met and married his wife Georgina aka Vicki. He was an avid car enthusiast and loved his Lincoln. He could fix and repair almost anything automotive related. He loved his music, singing, playing the guitar and a harmonica. He loved his horses and his pets. He was known for his passion and his sense of humor.

Humberto is survived by his wife Georgina and their children Tony Arana and Kim Arana; Siblings: Gioconda Arana and Edgar Arana; Grandchildren: Amanda Arana, Anthony Arana, and Julia Hilander; Great-grandchildren: Dahlia, Leo, Ashton, and Hope; Nieces/nephews: Marvin, Carol, and Ennio Diaz Arana.

Humberto was preceded in death by his parents, several siblings, and his two daughters Linda Arana and Veronica Arana.
