Holly Lynn Buffington-Yake

A celebration of life for life long Cortez resident Holly Lynn Buffington-Yake will be held from 3 – 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Cortez Fire Department.
Holly was born September 9, 1985 in Cortez, CO the daughter of Darryl and Sharon Lynn (Cooper) Buffington. She passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 in rural Archuleta County at the age of 33.
Holly graduated from Montezuma Cortez High School. She loved the Mighty Lightning Wrestling Club and worked all their fundraisers and concessions.
Surviving Holly are her parents Darryl and Sharon Buffington of Cortez, CO; her husband, Richard Yake of Cortez, CO; her children, Christney Blair, Chrish Blair, Zaden Yake and Cayomie Yake, all of Cortez, CO; her brother, Ryan Buffington (Sydney Orton) of Cortez, CO; and her sister, Jessica Rae Brackett of Grand Junction, CO.
