Helen Colene Noland Massey

HELEN COLENE NOLAND MASSEY Helen Colene Noland Massey was born July 11, 1927 at McPhee, Colo. the daughter of Walter and Eva (Foster) Peel. She passed away at Mercy Medical Center in Durango on Monday, May 19, 2008 at the age of 80. She was a lifelong resident of this area. Surviving Helen are her children, Wayne Noland of Dolores, Colene Noland of Mancos, Lalla Chadwick of Belgrade, Mont., and Diana Green of Las Vegas, Nev.; as well as by 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Massey; and infant son, Gene; two grandchildren, Christopher Scott Green and Richard Smith; and by her brother Richard Peel. Cremation has taken place and private family interment services will be held.
