Grant Wesley Burger, III

Grant passed away on December 19th, 2025, after a 10 year battle with cancer. Grant was born in Kremmling Colorado on November of 1971 to Grant W. Burger Jr and Karen Burger (Larsen). Grant was born and raised in the beautiful mountain town of Kremmling Colorado. He enjoyed the space and freedom growing up in the hills provided. Once Grant graduated, he attended CSU for a year before joining the US Army National Guard. Grant achieved his dream of flying Helicopters before an issue with his eyesight grounded him. In 1993 Grant met the love of his life, Susan and married in 1994. Grant and Susan lived a beautiful life full of love and had two beautiful daughters Shiloh and Reagan. Grant was diagnosed with Cancer in 2015 and fought very hard, always keeping a positive attitude and trying anything the Dcotors wanted him to. Grant's goal was to be around as long as possible for his family and did everything possible to do so.

Grant is preceded in death by his Grandfather Grant W. Burger Sr., his Grandmother Margaret Burger, his Sister Rebecca Burger and Uncle David Burger. He is Survived by his, His wife Susan Burger, daughters Shiloh Burger (Ethan Wilson), Reagan Burger, Father Grant W. Burger Jr, Cortez, CO., Mother Karen Burger (Larsen) Oregon, William and Rita Reigel of Dolores, CO.(Father and Mother in law), Jerry and Linda McMillen (Uncle and Aunt) as well as many close cousins and friends who have become family.

Grants family would like to thank all of the amazing Doctors and Nurses, Drivers, volunteers, clergy, and other patients we met along this journey, that kept Grant moving and encouraged him to keep going. Your support was so very appreciated.
