George Tanner Conger

GEORGE TANNER CONGER George Tanner Conger was born on August 1, 1927 in Akron, Ohio the son of Sidney Barnett and Emma Marjorie (Tanner) Conger. He passed away at his Cortez home on Monday, March 29, 2010 at the age of 82. Surviving George are his wife, Jeanette Conger of Cortez; his daughters, Anne Tomlinson and husband, Richard of Chicago, Ill., Susan Conger-Austin and husband, Jim of Chicago, Ill., Janne Motter and husband, John of Plano, Tex., and Nancy Ockene and husband, Brad of Chicago, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and his siblings, Sidney Conger of Houston, Tex., and Marjorie Harkins of Columbus, Ohio. George was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in Akron, Ohio at a later date.
