Garnette Mae Till

GARNETTE MAE TILL Garnette Mae Till was born on October 11, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of William F. and Josephine (Flowers) Till. She passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 88. Garnette proudly served her country from 1942 to 1944 with the United States Air Force. She was stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. In her free time, Garnette enjoyed reading. Surviving Garnette are her brother, William Till and wife, Mary Lou of Cortez; and her niece and nephew, Renae and Larry Yarbrough of Cortez. She was preceded in death by her parents. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Garnette's name to Hospice of Montezuma, P.O. Box 740 Cortez, Colo. 81321.
