Freeda Pearl Stapleton

Funeral services for Flora Vista, NM resident Freeda Pearl Stapleton will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 11, 2021 at Ertel Memorial Chapel in Cortez, CO. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery.
Freeda was born March 2, 1941 in Cortez, CO the daughter of Samuel Edward and Mae Elizabeth (Maness) Hoffman. She passed away peacefully at her home in Flora Vista, NM at the age of 80.
Surviving Freeda are her loving husband, Alvin Stapleton of Flora Vista, NM; her children, Don Stapleton of TX, Rhonda Stapleton of TX, Ron Stapleton of Aztec, NM, Rachelle Stapleton of NM; and five grandchildren, Robert, Courtney, Brittany, Kaitlyn, and Madyson. Freeda was preceded in death by her parents, her son, John Stapleton; and her siblings, Pauline Riley, Marie Godfrey, and C.R. Hoffman.
