Frances Joy Macomber

FRANCES JOY MACOMBER Frances Joy Macomber was born on August 13, 1937 in San Diego, Calif. the daughter of Paul Allen and Marjorie Giddens. She passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 72. Joy was a lover of all animals. She was an avid competition trail rider and a very knowledgeable horseman. Surviving Joy are her children, Sharon Sloyer and husband, Mike of Lakeside, Calif., Bryan Burnett of Mohave Valley, Ariz., and Kimberly Roberts of Beatty, Ore.; one grandchild; and her siblings, Trelawny Dickenson of Palm Springs, Calif., John Macomber of Wisconsin, and Jeff Macomber of San Diego, Calif. Joy was preceded in death by her parents; and by her brother, Bill Macomber. Cremation has taken place and no local services are planned.
