EVELYN "JEANNE" ABINGTON Evelyn "Jeanne" Abington was born in Kansas City, Mo. on July 23, 1927 the daughter of George Roy and Addie (Mathis) Moore. She passed away at Vista Grande Inn on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the age of 84. Jeanne came to Cortez seven years ago to be nearer her daughter, Karen, her only survivor. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, John Stanley Abington. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date for Mrs. Abington in Wyoming.
