Graveside inurnment services for Eljay Leroy Rogers will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Cortez Cemetery.
Eljay Leroy Rogers born March 1, 1982 in Salida Colorado. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Ann Rogers; daughter, Jessika Ann Rogers; and his son, Skyler Clinton Rogers. Also surviving Eljay are his mother, Peggy Sue Rogers; sister, Rebbecca Sue Oakes; his father, grandparents, aunts, uncle, nieces, nephew and cousins. Eljay was preceded in death by great grandparents, his grandfather, and a cousin.
He served in the Army for 4 years in Iraq.
He passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2024.
