Elizabeth Jane Snair

ELIZABETH JANE SNAIR Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Snair was born on February 8, 1923 in Pittsburgh, Penn. to Oscar A. and Winnifred (Burgiss) Loeffler. She passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at her Cortez home at the age of 89. Betty worked as the Junior High School Librarian for many years. She enjoyed writing poems which were published in numerous magazines. Betty also wrote a novel that was published as well. She was a member of a book club and loved to read. Surviving Betty are her sons, Mike Snair of Cortez, and David Snair and wife, Liz of Kent, Wash.; her sister, Polly Loeffler of Denver, Colo.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Winnifred Loeffler; her husband, Allen Snair; her two brothers; and three sisters. Cremation will take place with services at a later date.
